Ziamann hatrick not enough

Buckley win local derby

On Wednesday Flint Town United went three points clear at the top of the table after a very late Paul Williams goal against Lex X1. An inspired display by February's Charisma Thophies player of the month Ben Jones looked like winning a point for Lex as he almost single handedly kept Flint at Bay. Llandudno were held to a goaless draw at home by fellow league cup semi-finalists Bethesda Athetic and in a cracking game at Penrhyncoch the home side took a two goal lead only for Berriew's Martin Ziamann to score a four minute hatrick to put the visitors in front. Llyr levelled for Penryn and Mark Egan fired home the winner from the penalty spot with five minutes remaining

On Tuesday Mold Alex and Buckley Town failed to break the deadlock in the first forty five minutes at Alyn Park. Joey Desormeaux gave Town the lead ten minutes into the second half and Gareth Edwards added the second ten minutes from time when he headed home a Phil Molyneux long throw
