Llangefni start the weekend with a win

This weeks action started on Friday evening when Buckley Town took a third minute lead with a Gareth Edwards header, Llangefni equalised on thirty minutes when Ywain Gwynedd fired home from the edge of the penalty area and Marc Evans sealed the points for Gefni in the seventy fifth minute. On Saturday Denbigh Town took a thirtieth minute lead at home to Ruthin Town with former Ruthin player Liam Jones netting, Tom Shaples put Denbigh two up at the start of the second half only for Tryffan Prosser and Mike Garrod to net for Ruthin for a share of the points. Bethesda Athletic were five up at the beak at Gresford Athletic with Gareth Davies twice on target, they added an own goal in the second half for an emphatic win. Mike Griffiths scored the only goal of the game to give Lex X1 the points at Guilsfield. There was a ten goal thriller at Llangollen with the home side scoring six, Jon Taylor and Simon Hulse both netting two. In the league cup Flint Town united saw off Penrhyncoch six one with Shaun Beck scoring a hatrick and missing a penalty. Llandudno need extra time to overcome Holyhead Hotspur. The game finished two all after ninety minutes with goals from Luke Carding and Lee Thomas in extra time taking Dudno through to the semi final
