Frames nets a hatrick

On Friday Wes Brereton gave Bucklet Town a thirty ninth minutes lead at Holyhead Hotspur but a goal from Chris Saxon seven minutes from time saw Hotspur grab a point.

On Saturday a Ross Frame hatrick saw Guilsfield win by the odd goal in five at home to Llangollen in a game that saw three players sent off, Richard Astley and Mark Davies for Guilsfield and Steve Edwards for Llangollen. Simon Hulse and Simon Smith (pen) netting for Llan. Denbigh Town (right) took a twenty ninth minute lead at Mold Alex through a Jamie Hoson penalty, Graham Randles equalised for Alex five minutes into the second half only for Jamie Dummy to score the winner for Denbigh five minutes from time. Town had captain Kevin Evans sent off in the dying minutes. Ian Probert netted a double with Mark Ziamann netting a third for Berriew after keeper Ben Jones had blocked a Mark Jones penalty as the visitors won at Lex X1. Gresford Athletic recorded their second win of the season when Mike Pugh scored the only goal of the game against visitors Llanfairpwll. Athletic held on despite playing most of the game with ten men after the dismissal of Graham Sutcliffe. The games at Bethesda, Caernarfon and Llangefni were postponed.
